Grapple spoon system
In sewage treatment plants, this system is usually used to extract the mud from the bottom of the settling ponds.
The bucket is a module that consists of two buckets that open and close simultaneously operated by a hydraulic group. The buckets collect the mud, which is discharged into a container outside the raft.
The hoist has the spoon suspended from its hook, to which it supplies electrical tension for its operation. To make this possible, the hoist carries with it an electric switchboard and a roller drum with the feed hose.
The whole assembly is mounted on a gantry or bridge crane to access different points of the raft as well as the container for emptying mud.
